Gasp!

I've gone over to the dark side................and tried my hand at crochet!

It's really difficult! I spend all last night having a go and kept having to frog it all and start again.

The reason for my trying crochet is that I met a girl called Julie at knitting club on Monday and she brought along a gorgeous scarf she was crocheting and a hat she had recently finished. I was well impressed and she made it look so easy. GGGGRRRR, must try harder!

Crochet is OK! I use it mostly for afghans. Like most things, once you learn how and practice a bit, it becomes easy.

Hey! I've wanted to learn to crochet, but I always seem to fail whenever I've tried. People say it's really easy to do...best of luck to you! I also noticed you're a journalist/communications person as well! Love that...this is my senior year in university for communications! Hope to learn more about you in the future.

I crocheted first and wanted to learn knitting because it was just too much twisting of my wrist. It takes time and then it just totally clicks, (I remember the frustration when trying to learn to knit!):)
Hang in there! It's a blast!

I've tried to learn crochet a couple of times and gave up. I learned to knit from a book, but that method isn't working for me with crochet.

I admire those who make it look so easy. ;)
